About David Mulcahy

David Mulcahy specialises in primary and revision hip and knee replacement, knee arthroscopy and in foot and ankle surgery.He has been working as a Consultant in Ireland since 1999. He spent 9 years in public service both in Navan and Cork and has been in full time private practice in the Bon Secours Hospital, Cork since 2008.

David completed his sub-speciality fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery, joint reconstruction, and trauma, in Toronto.

David completed general surgical training in the United Kingdom and is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. He returned to Ireland to train in orthopedic surgery in 1992, where he obtained the Intercollegiate Fellowship Examination in Trauma and Orthopedic surgery. He has over 30 publications in both international and national journals.
